Photography is one of my most valuable interests and passions. Bee on the pink flowers was another one of my lovely pieces. I always look at this picture in two ways, springtime has arrived and, our bees are threatened with extinction. My brother has built himself some beehives and keeps them on his farm in Mallorca, Spain. He began this hobby for three purposes.
Like all great things in life, it is a very time-consuming process, and you have to keep your sights on any threats like ants or to see if the Queen is still alive.
I have forever had a camera and took a lot of photos over the years. As I previously said, years back, we used film, and the process took too long. You had to wait for days to get the actual pictures. Later on, I invested in a small digital, but that was to upgrade from the film. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I will be using a DSLR in manual mode. In this photograph, Bee, on the pink flowers, you can see the immense detail that you can capture with specific lenses.
My photography career began about four years ago, and since then, I have never looked back. Owning a digital camera made it a lot easier to capture photos and the convenience of using photo editing programs. If I can choose one genre of photography, it will always be black and white photography. Someone once said you don’t need words for a black and white photo. It speaks for itself.
I live in such a vibrant and cultural environment and have so many opportunities to take various pictures. People and events all over the world. Rituals that some people will never get to experience in their lifetimes. In these excursions, I was a brave woman solely taking on the unknown. I was blessed to meet such beautiful souls and always welcomed.
I will begin with this photo titled, Bee on pink flowers. A casual morning stroll in my garden experimenting with a new lens.
